The air conditioning service ensures that your air conditioning system provides comfortable air conditions in the vehicle. This ensures even cooling of the vehicle as well as filtering the air from outside.

This includes:

• Checking the refrigerant plus refilling if necessary.
• Checking of possible sealing gaps of the system
• Checking and replacing air filters

You know what it's like - the air conditioning isn't working, you're hot, irritable and distracted. A functioning air conditioning system ensures that

• the cooling of the car interior is sufficient
• there is enough refrigerant so that the compressor does not run hot and there is sufficient lubrication
• the dryer does not extract moisture from the refrigerant and thus, thanks to maintenance, does not wear out and rust does not form in the air conditioner
• bacteria, viruses and fungi do not collect on the evaporator and cannot spread in the car.

5. Add missing operating fluids (gas/fluid)
6. Leak test of the air conditioning system

Our master Matthias is convinced to perform the air conditioning service at least every 2 years. Too often, porous hoses and seals - which are necessary for operation - are the cause of malfunctions. If you detect it early, a hose or seal is quickly replaced and not the condensers or compressors which then also cause significantly more costs. Prevention for the recognition of damages is particularly announced here, since the plant is more strongly exposed by winter operation, marten bite and stone impact from below (depending upon KFZ type).

Also under hygiene points of view the maintenance of this plant part is to be judged additionally!

Due to the operation of the used air conditioner a continuous evaporation takes place - i.e. the fluid has to be refilled / replaced regularly. With a 2-year maintenance interval, you are on the safe side.
